The “Lonja” is one of the most characteristic buildings in Valencia, it was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO on December 5th 1996. The “Lonja de Mercaderes” is located in the historic center of the city, in front of the Central Market and the Temple of the Santos Juanes. The fish market was built in 1492. Visiting hours for La Lonja de la Seda are from Monday to Saturday from 09:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 09:30 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. throughout the year. Ticket prices are around €2 for general admission and €1 entry for students, pensioners and large families.
